ABOUT ME

Hi. My name is Charlie Standen.

I am a UK based illustrator with a focus on cartoons and digital art. I am inspired by many forms of creative media, including film, television, music, and comic books. My style is influenced by many artists from around the world, such as cartoonists like Hergé and Raymond Briggs, as well as illustrators like Norman Rockwell and JC Leyendecker.

I have been drawing ever since

I was a child and enjoyed reading and creating picture books which eventually inspired me to pursue Illustration as a career. Over the past few years I have refined my style while also working on keeping my skill set diverse, allowing me to do simple cartoon-like designs, as well as more realistic works. I hope to specialize in illustrating for print media like book covers and posters, as well as for merchandise.
